Young Footy Stars set the pace for East Freo Coaches at our Open Day!

By Springtime • August 1st, 2016

On Saturday 24th July, we held our Springtime Display Village Open Day, we put on free belgian waffles and coffee, a 8 meter climbing wall and a free football clinic with the East Fremantle Coaches!

Young footy hopefuls came from near and far to hone in on their football skills with some of the East Fremantle Coaching Team Rob Wiley (Ex Richmond coach and Perth Demons Star), Jacob Brennan (Defensive coach, Former Eagle), as well as Kim Beasland (Assistant Coach) & Matthew Jupp  (Vice Captain).

The kids all had an absolute ball (pun intended) and got to take home a Springtime Football and some East Fremantle gear.

Springtime is a major sponsor of the East Fremantle Football Club. The catchment for this district includes Haynes, Brookdale, Seville Grove, Forrestdale, Canning Vale, Southern River and much more.  The local football teams within this catchment are all run by the East Fremantle Football Club, which is why we chose to be a sponsor of the club. We are passionate about supporting our local community! Any talented kids within the East Fremantle Catchment will be taken into the ‘Development Squad’ at age 14 to further develop their skills, from there they are able to train to play in the WAFL and even be recruited to the AFL if they are selected.
